This discipline has established a high-level academic-production-research integrated technical system for the research and development of various microbial resources.Wepreservedmore than 50,000microorganismstrains,developeda number of classification methods and systems for microbial groups, anddiscoveredmore than 150 new species; establishedvarious types of microbial genetic operating systems for the breeding of microbial metabolism engineering and the selected andindustrializedofhigh-yielding strains such asGSH,5-HTP and PQQetc. In the past five years,we conductedover 10 National Natural Science Foundation projects,andindustrialized2 scientific researchachievements.

Thismaster project in microbiologyis divided into four research directions, namely, microbial systematicevolution and biodiversity, microbial resource science, microbial genetic breeding and fermentation physiology, and environmental microbial technology. The four research directions are independent of each other in content and methods, and cross each other.
